Danvers 5k

We had a pretty good turn out of 42 runners even though the weather was a little up in the air.  However, the terrential rain ended up stopping just in time for the run.  We lucked out once again!

Glenn Dooling of Beverly came in first this week with a time of 19:41.  Annie Rose Willis of Danvers came in second with a time of 20:03.  And James Deluca of Beverly came in third with a time of 20:16. Wow, speedy speedy! Great job guys!

Welcome to our new-b’s, sorry I can not welcome you individually this week whereas I’m not sure who you are.  :)  Hopefully next week we will be able to track the new runners on the new sign in sheet!

 Wow, what a great turn out this week with 54 runners.  The weather was perfect sunny and warm. 

Pat O’Donnell had a great first run coming in 1st with a time of 18:14.  Michaeline Nelson came in 2nd with a time of 18:49 setting a new female course record.  And, Bob Lindberg came in third with a time of 19:24.  All 54 runners finished in under 35 minutes, that’s including 9-year-old, Amanda Novak, who finished 52 with a time of 33:35.  Wow, now that’s what we like to see, spectacular job everyone!

A few quick reminders, please remember to check in with Adam when you are done cooling down from your run.  We hand out the nifty little popsicle sticks to help keep track of the times and runners.  So, if you run on home with your stick we do not know who you are! 

We would also like to remind everyone that our weekly can donations are starting to diminish.  So please bring in anything you’d like to donate to the food pantry.

We had fairly decent weather for our run this week. A little drizzily, but hey does that ever stop a true runner?

Sending out a big congrats to Mike Talmadge for beating the course record by 69 seconds giving him a time of 17:50. Tim Short also set a new PR for himself this week with a time of 18:10 and coming in 2nd. New-b Bob Lindberg came in third with a time of 20:10. Great job guys.

We had a couple little showers during our run this week.  And a pretty good turn out of 34 runners. 

Welcome to our new-b’s this week.  Listed in running time order (sorry for any spelling errors, due to the rain the time sheet was a little soggy!).  Rick Provost, Meag Ventura, Larissa Lang, Samantha Bourgeois, Miranda Morse, Megan Hillengas, Michelle Bernard, Mark Guarino, and Marisol Ficaro.  Three of our runners set a new PR this week.  Chris Soucy, Mike Hale, and Kevin Whitehead.  Great job guys.

Well well well looks like the rain did someone good.  Chris Soucy took first place this week with a time of 19:42.  New-b Rick Provost came in 2nd with a time of 19:48.  And Jay Molloy came in third with 20:19.  Awesome run!
