The Danvers 5k is a fun run that takes place every Wednesday at 7pm starting and finishing at the Cody Brewing Company at 62 Maple Street in Danvers, MA. Cody’s is right downtown across from Danvers Hardware.

The course is pretty fast and flat with a few light hills. My car’s odometer says it’s a spot on 5k (3.1 miles). The North Shore Rugby Club uses this as a training run and we usually get a few people from the Wicked Running Club of Salem. It’s a diverse crowd — male and female, all ages, all levels of experience.

Beer. After we run, most of us stick around for a pint or two of hand-crafted brew and a little small talk. We love it when new people show up so don’t hesitate to come by. We’d love to see ya.
