today is like Christmas for beer drinkers. Seeing how the very roots of the D5K were founded in a brewery I find it only fitting to take a moment to pay my respects to a few beer drinkers who made all of this possible. We owe a lot to these guys, and all of you little leprechauns as well, who show up week after week regardless of conditions and have made the D5K the best running event in the world…ever.
So with that being said, I invite all or any of you to wear some green this evening in honor of “BEER” because without it, there would be no reason to run, or do much of anything else for that matter. So lucky us.
