I think this image says it all about this Wednesday night.
HOT…HOT…HOT.
However the fact that it’s a million degrees out just somehow didn’t seem to register to roughly 60 runners who showed up for the D5K this week.
That’s a total of 186 sole melting miles thrown down in under 45 minutes. Luckily we had plenty of re-hydration devices on hand to get everyone back on track afterwards.
Many thanks to Gary Jones for bringing down some grilleables for everyone to munch on post-run. Good Stuff
I look forward to seeing everyone next week on a hopefully slightly cooler Wednesday Evening.
Alright, I’lm going to lye down for a while, I am just getting over my first case of heat stroke. What a wild type of experience, it’s like some one reached into your body and took your batteries out, I went to bed Friday night, and basically woke up Sunday Morning. It’s Monday afternoon and I’m still not 100%, what a weird thing to have. Oh well…enough whining.
