Andrea Listro Owner of the “7th Mile” a company that puts on racing events did a great job this weekend, with her first annual “Octoberfest 5K” Road Race. It started and finished in beautiful seaside Lynch Park located in Beverly, Mass.
The weather cooperated nicely with no rain, and slightly gray skies. Which kept the the temperatures down making for great running conditions. The spread was nice, with plenty of food and beverages for the nearly 200 runners that showed up to take part.
There was also an after party for the runners at the Black Lobster just over the bridge in Salem. With free food for the participants, live music provided by “Mile 21” and of course the ever so attentive bartenders that made sure that no cup ran dry. It was really a great event, and all of Andreas hard work and passion for te sport was apparent in every detail.
I would like to the thank the D5K’ers for having a great presence at this race, and really placing well.
