At the Claddagh 4-miler in Lawrence on Sunday, it was a close finish for D5K regulars TR Ramsdell and Frank “Alarmclock” Lanzillo. Although Lanzillo closed the gap in the final few meters, Ramsdell was able to hold on — crossing the finish line just one second in the lead.
The most amusing part of this predicament was that neither was aware of the other, and it wasn’t until seeing the posted results that we discovered this exciting moment had even taken place.
For future reference, Frank, the 6’4″ guy in a neon yellow jacket — that’s TR.
