Another great evening for a run. With a group of 38 brave souls pushing there bodies around the mean streets of Danvers for the GLORY that is the “D5K”
Kudos out to Crystal Anthony for coming in first overall “again” and setting a new female course record, previously held by: Crystal Anthony. With a time of, 18:27.
Danny Chick was obviously in a teaching mood, schooling almost everybody by being the first male finisher with a time of, 18:46. No wonder Jared hasn’t been back.
We at the “D” welcome the 5 first time runners that joined our ranks.
Rich Horgan – 25:56
Greg Gagnon – 30:15
Kelly Reardon – 30:46
Travis Reardon – 35:42
Jeanne Wral – 36:54
As well, shoes off to this weeks personal record makers.

Thanks to T.R. Ramsdell again for helping with the “oh-so” glamorous job of handing out the popsicle sticks, and for donating 2 full bags of canned goods for the local food bank. As well as thanks to everyone else who donated some stuff.
Thanks and we will see you all next week. In closing, if you are so inclined to keep reading, I will leave you with a running dream I had. Picture, if you can, yourself running a marathon in the 1940’s in front of the White House. OK? Good. Now picture all the runners in that Marathon, now picture that all those runners in that Marathon “Are You” It’s you, running against hundreds of, you. What would that look like? Of course in dreams we find situations like this to be somehow easily acceptable. Regardless of how slightly off camber they may be with there content. The problem with dreams, is that we cannot visually share them with others, like say we can a photograph, but it would cool if we could. Someday.
